Live!’s 1.60.350 - Going back in time

Here’s what’s changed in version 1.60.350

⚠️ Please be advised that there is a period of scheduled maintenance approximately two weeks after this update is released. This period will be very brief, but will require all Live! downloads to be updated immediately to allow for accurate flight tracking.

If you are flying/plan to fly during the period of 23/6/2026 2100 UTC to 23/6/2026 2130 UTC, make sure that you are manually tracking flights outside of the Live! app, as the system will automatically log you out and require you to update to the next version.

This update to Live! brings more flexible post-flight data entry, improvements to battery efficiency with GPS accuracy controls and a range of bugfixes and tweaks.

What’s new?

  1. Compatibility with iOS 26 - 1.60 makes sure that we support newer and future devices properly, along with iOS 26’s new requirements for device permissions, which may mean you will be prompted to allow Live! certain access to device-level functions again.
  2. Navigate backwards in post-flight data entry - you can now redo or overwrite previous entries in the post-flight pages before you sign the flight off for upload to the HCM system. This means you can now correct mistakes or add additional details once you’ve completed the step.
  3. Create re-survey events with comments on the go - you can now set new survey expiry dates from Live! which syncs with the HLS Directory’s waypoints along with comments to explain each re-survey.

  1. Dial in the accuracy of your device GPS with a slider - in the app settings, you can now set your device to poll your GPS location with more or less accuracy, allowing you to choose between better flight tracks or performance/battery efficiency.

What’s fixed?

  1. We’ve made it clearer what the issue is when logging in fails - in preparation for an authentication change, we’ve made these notices clearer. Please make sure you’re aware of the above maintenance period as a result of this.

We also tweaked:

  1. Added the operator name of the account that’s currently logged in is now displayed in the app.
  2. Larger +/- edit buttons in the manual timings page.
  3. Backgrounds and other materials have been simplified to reduce app size.
  4. Fixed an annoyance that would consistently ask the user to allow locations permissions.
  5. Fixed a problem where the crew search bar wouldn’t reset after selecting a user.
  6. Removed unused motion detection functionality.

If you have any problems yourself as a result of this update, or have anything to report or suggest in general - submit a ticket for our team here.
