Here’s what’s changed in version 26.4.0
In HCM’s first official update of April (and of 2026 (and of the decade)), we’ve addressed some quirks reported from our recent roster publishing changes and introduced some handy functionality to edit past and future duties from the Roster.
What’s new?
- ‘Quick Edit’ and ‘Go to Duty’ shortcut in the Roster tool - you can now update a duty’s times (depending on the duty’s type) directly from the Roster by selecting ‘Quick Edit’ and saving, which will automatically update ruleset calculations. To make more in-depth edits, select ‘Go to Duty’ and take a shortcut to the full duty editing page in a new tab, with your changes automatically taking effect for that duty. Access both of these buttons by clicking on any duty in the Roster to view its details panel.
What’s fixed?
- Duties created by crew members are automatically published - if your account’s operator settings allow, any duties created by crew members that were not originally rostered, or are in the future are now automatically published and visible to themselves through the Personal Dashboard, or other crew member’s personal roster (again, if operator settings allow).
- User groups edits now correctly update the visible qualifications on the user profile - when editing a user’s groups from their profile, the tabs containing their qualifications will now accurately update. If you have made changes to user groups in recent weeks, you may want to check that their qualification group tabs reflect their assigned user groups - if not, re-assigning will now refresh these tabs.
We also tweaked:
- Changed wording for the property setting ‘Permitted’ ranks for a particular Duty Template’s definition.
- Fixed a problem where the ‘Check Effective From’ date’s format would be incorrect when saved.
- Fixed a problem where email reminders would still be sent for new checks and recency items even if the option is unchecked on creation.
