Quantavia in January 2026, gained Cyber Essentials Plus certification after an independent assessment by Bulletproof (an IASME approved provider). The certification covers our entire business, products and operations.
Having regained the basic certification in November, we wanted to demonstrate assurance that the measures we’ve introduced during the last 12 months in order to improve our cyber security could stand up to scrutiny.
Putting Quantavia through Plus shows to our customers that not only do we say we’ve implemented improved cyber security measures in the business, but we have proven that we’ve put in place effective controls to maintain a reasonable degree of cyber security.
What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is a UK created, government-body led certification that is led by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), which is part of Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ).
Through Cyber Essentials, UK businesses, charities, schools, universities and local authorities can prove that they have put in place methods to reduce the likelihood of or impact from cyber incidents originating from online activity.
The certification sees assessment across five key measures:
- Access control
- Firewalls and routers
- Malware protection
- Secure configuration
- Software updates
These standard technical controls enable organisations to protect themselves against the most common online security threats.
What does Quantavia’s Cyber Essentials Plus certification mean for you?
Aside from assurance that your operations partner has taken important steps to ensure it’s protected from online threats, it also means that behind the scenes we have made some changes these past 12 months.
In order to improve resilience against cyber threats, Quantavia has invested in more robust infrastructure for our customers to move away from legacy services, and onto newer platorms such as Digital Forms.
