Here’s what’s new, what’s changed and what’s fixed in Version 0.5.0.

Discretion Reports can now be created, managed and reviewed inside the beta

The other side of the Reports area in the beta has now been shown some love, with the implementation and improvements to admin-level handling of Discretion Reports.

Admins can now manually create reports on behalf of users through the Inspect Crew area, and perform reviewing and evaluation actions through Reports > Discretion. Users will be able to view existing reports, add Ops comments, edit details and mark as reviewed - as well as forward critical reports to the CAA through the contact information available in your HCM account's Notification settings.

Taking control of the confidentiality of SMS Reports

Submitting SMS reports through the Hub app using our Digital Forms feature now includes the ability for reporters to decide how their report will be handled within our SMS. Reports can be set to one of three confidentiality ratings that will affect how the SMS behaves:

1. Open - The reporter's name will be visible to everybody, including in exported files.
2. Confidential - This will hide the reporter's name in exports and other areas, but be visible to the Safety Team in the SMS.
3. Anonymous - This will completely redact the reporter's name across the system.

Export your SMS Report data for external analysis

If you'd like to perform some external analysis on the data collected about your SMS' reports, you can now export to three different formats (.csv, .html & .xlsx), determine the filename and set a date range.

More control over SMS Corrective Actions

When responding to Corrective Actions in Hub, the specified Safety Team now has the ability to respond to any action manually through an additional tab.

New notification events and emails for all users

If you decide to use these features in the beta, our reconfigured events and notifications systems will create system messages in the Personal Dashboard and Hub as well as sending emails through the same channels as HeliCrewManager.

We’ve also fixed:

1. Fixed a problem causing duplicate emails to be sent.
2. Updated the handling and displaying of User avatars.
3. Fixed a known issue from the previous update where large filtered requests could take longer than usual.
4. Updated UI elements across the site to fit more consistent and accessible standards
