Here’s what’s new, what’s changed and what’s fixed in Version 0.3.0.
Create sophisticated prose and collate a variety of images
With Gen3, you can now add more detail and variety to instructions messages or explanations, using the Static Text field's new Markdown editor. Adjust weights, formating, lists and more to display accurate information to form-fillers in Hub. As well as this, a new Upload input has been added to the builder, allowing you to collect users' images directly from their mobile device through the Hub app.
A huge expansion to form flexibity
In the old times, you could only assign one candidate and one check to your training forms - no more! Gen3 allows you to assign complex data tags to form selection items, meaning you can select multiple subsets of checks, multiple candidates and set up required and default combinations of all of these attributes. Go nuts!
Don't get tripped up validating a form
For several form types we use data tags to make sure critical inputs are computed correctly to achieve the tasks they are assigned, which can get complicated and involved for each input. Now, the editable sections of components that are tagged are limited to the allowed items, making it easier to validate a form with the correct formats.
Make sure your forms reach the right audience
Before, you could decide who sees a particular form based on only trainer type - we've updated these access controls to allow you more granular filtering to different form layouts. You can now select between Ranks and User Groups as well as Trainer Type and select from your setup within your HCM account - meaning only your allowed subsets will be able to view the form in Hub.
Upgrades to updating your inputs
We've also made improvements to various aspects of the properties panel when editing inputs in your forms to improve speed and accessibility to more complex settings. Admendments have been made to improve selecting options for certain input types through additional controls to choose categories of data and how to group them within selection inputs, and replaced the rows value in text inputs in favour of a character limit for simplicity.
We’ve also fixed:
- Fixed a problem where you were forced to select and upper and lower bound for multi-select.
- Migrated the old /forms route to the new /digital-forms in the URL.
