HCM v26.6.6 - We're getting Attached
Here’s what’s changed in version 26.6.6
This update brings the long-awaited additional of attachments to more data objects in HCM, including Duty and Flight records for both Ops and Personal users - alongside some other helpful tweaks and fixes. What’s new? Get attached to duties and flights When you’re editing a duty or a flight for yourself or somebody else, you can now attach almost any file you want to keep even more robust records. Attachments can be found in the top-right of these pages, allowing you to upload up to 20 files per record and preview them when displayed in a table. Any file can be downloaded from HCM, with images loading as previews directly in the page. More details on your upcoming Checks In the Personal dashboard, the “Checks Approaching Expiry” panel has been expanded on - allowing you to navigate directly to the Check in question, see more information about the qualification at-a-glance and see details about your most recent submission. We also tweaked: Altered OML restriction messages to be advisory. Fixed a problem affecting lifetime checks that have been migrated. Fixed an issue where duties could be quick edited or accessed even when they were confirmed or otherwise restricted. Further optimisations to our recalculation queues. Fixed a problem affecting rules popovers in “Duties with issues” panel. HCM v26.5.1 - Improved Mission Analysis
Here’s what’s changed in version 26.5.1
In HCM’s second update of May 2026, we’ve given Mission Analysis a big upgrade, improved the efficiency of fetching flights, rostered duties and recalculating Qualification Groups and addressed various reported issues. What’s new? Mission Analysis gets a boost of features, speed and usability & adds handy shortcuts - the Mission Analysis tool now acts a more comprehensive flight lookup, allowing you to filter by all of flight properties, pilots and more as well as existing Mission Data - which now renders options in a smarter way based on your Mission Definitions. Flights will now load 50-70% faster, as well as giving you the option to jump directly to the flight itself if you need to make edits. Load your roster more efficiently and much faster - the roster itself will now fetch duties faster based on your selected User Groups, and unload deselected groups in the Pivot View to save memory and increase performance. Mission photos & CofG changes - this moves photos out of the Mission Analysis results and into the individual flight pages, and makes sure to only render CofG data when there is associated information to fetch. What’s fixed? Redundant recencies are now automatically purged - when making changes to a flight’s registration or other properties, the dynamic recencies that can be edited now flush out old entries to prevent false histories. We also tweaked: The “Duty Code” Pivot View in the Roster now displays up to two User Codes, with the ability to expand the list to see all visible crew members - improving performance when loaded in. Lifetime checks will now match the behaviour of standard checks when they are awaiting approval by OPS. Updated support email to “support@quantavia.net” when encountering errors. Recalculating Qualifcation Groups when changes are made is now more efficient. Fixed a problem where users could not resubmit a check revalidation when a submission had been rejected earlier that same day. Fixed a problem where a rejected/deleted expiry date would appear when revalidating a check. Fixed an issue where alerts would sometimes appear underneath other elements on the page. Removed the Heatmap Generator function as the underlying library became deprecated. HCM v26.4.0 - Quickly update Roster Duties
Here’s what’s changed in version 26.4.0
In HCM’s first official update of April (and of 2026 (and of the decade)), we’ve addressed some quirks reported from our recent roster publishing changes and introduced some handy functionality to edit past and future duties from the Roster. What’s new? ‘Quick Edit’ and ‘Go to Duty’ shortcut in the Roster tool - you can now update a duty’s times (depending on the duty’s type) directly from the Roster by selecting ‘Quick Edit’ and saving, which will automatically update ruleset calculations. To make more in-depth edits, select ‘Go to Duty’ and take a shortcut to the full duty editing page in a new tab, with your changes automatically taking effect for that duty. Access both of these buttons by clicking on any duty in the Roster to view its details panel (in some cases, this new behaviour will only appear after performing a hard refresh - you can do this on most Windows browsers by holding [CTRL] + [F5], on Safari with [Shift] + the Reload button in the toolbar, and in Chrome or Firefox for Mac holding [CMD] + [Shift] + [R]). What’s fixed? Duties created by crew members are automatically published - if your account’s operator settings allow, any duties created by crew members that were not originally rostered, or are in the future are now automatically published and visible to themselves through the Personal Dashboard, or other crew member’s personal roster (again, if operator settings allow). User groups edits now correctly update the visible qualifications on the user profile - when editing a user’s groups from their profile, the tabs containing their qualifications will now accurately update. If you have made changes to user groups in recent weeks, you may want to check that their qualification group tabs reflect their assigned user groups - if not, re-assigning will now refresh these tabs. We also tweaked: Changed wording for the property setting ‘Permitted’ ranks for a particular Duty Template’s definition. Fixed a problem where the ‘Check Effective From’ date’s format would be incorrect when saved. Fixed a problem where email reminders would still be sent for new checks and recency items even if the option is unchecked on creation.
